These are a unique pair of silver and labradorite drop earrings in a simple, yet elegant leaf shape. The high quality gemstone is quite rare, and has a subtle bluey, greenish earthy coloured hue.

Labradorite is a gemstone that was named after Labrador in Canada where is was discovered on the Isle of Paul, near Nair in 1770. It has since been found in  Finland, Madagascar & Australia.

Eskimo legends state believe that the Northern lights shone on the shores and the stones captured the wonderful ' laborescence' of the various shades of colours.
